Dunbar and Associates Counseling was created to help people become emotionally, cognitively and spiritually healthy though one to one counseling sessions and partnership with other support networks. We believe people become whole when they are able to think in a healthier way, resolve emotional trauma from the past, and seek to develop a deeper relationship with themselves, others and God.

Mike Dunbar, LPC
Therapist
Previous to obtaining my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA I worked for numerous Fortune 500 Corporations serving the medical community in Pittsburgh, PA and opened my own small business.
I've been married for 20 years with four children and at the age of 47, after my return to academia, I changed careers and worked for counseling agencies in the Pittsburgh area. I opened my own practice in 2014 and went on staff as a counselor at a non-denominational church in 2015. I continue to maintain my own practice in Wexford, PA and speak at, attend, or help facilitate local Addiction, Codependency, or Parents of Addicts support groups and remain on staff as a counselor at a local non-denominational church in the Cranberry area.
I counsel as a generalist with a primary focus in the areas of Marriage/Family and Mental Health.
